Pearly Seashell Bracelet

I can imagine this bracelet being on the wrist of a merfolk as they swim through coral reefs and embark on aquatic adventures. It features pearly button top seashells, small metal beads, and tiny metallic pearlescent glass seed beads that echo the colours of deep-sea waves.

The button top seashells would have once housed sea snails and other crustaceans at the bottom of the sea before washing ashore. I found them in a box of dusty, unloved shells at a thrift store, and I just knew I needed to bring them home and turn them into something beautiful. Each shell has a unique pattern and tells a different story; they're a beautiful part of nature that deserves to be seen, loved, and worn. Seashells are sacred to many cultures around the globe and hold a variety of spiritual meanings. In some cultures, they represent fertility, love, protection, the lifecycle, rebirth, and the bridge between our world and the spiritual world. Some believe they aid in giving the wearer wisdom, resilience, emotional healing, and protection.

Glass represents and carries the energies of transformation, merging of elements, rebirth, focus and communication. When light shines through a glass prism, it brings in the vibrations of those specific colour energies. The glass beads in this bracelet show colours of purple, green, and deep blue, and for some may represent the crown chakra, heart chakra, and throat chakra.

This bracelet is also made using jewellery-grade elasticated thread, which DOES contain plastic, but I'm using up my supply before I switch to sustainably sourced elastic, so this reel doesn't go to waste. This bracelet will fit most wrist sizes, though if you would prefer a specific size, add a note upon purchasing, and I will tailor it to you.

This bracelet will come in recycled tissue paper and will be packaged in a plastic-free envelope.
