My name is Lulu and I'm the alien behind Flying Saucer Art. I love creating jewellery from natural materials like semi-precious gemstones, glass, and clay. I also make abstract art prints, and upcycle unloved clothing to give a fresh lease of life.
I make art as a form of physical therapy as I battle with a brain disorder where my fine motor skills fluctuate, so practicing often helps me to regain my motor functions. I also use it as a way to reconnect with Mother Earth and the beautiful gifts she gives us. In a world of fast-paced consumerism, I prefer slow and gentle handmade creations that come from the earth and from the heart.
