Blue Howlite and Glass Drop Earrings

These simple yet elegant blue earrings are a great way to add a little pop of colour to any outfit. Featuring two dyed blue howlite balls topped with a small blue glass bead hung on silver jewellery wire and hook earrings, these were made to be a staple for sure!

Blue howlite are dyed version of white howlite, rumoured for its calming and communication-enhancing properties. It's associated with the throat chakra, promoting clear communication, emotional expression, and inner peace. It is also believed to reduce stress, anxiety, and anger.

Blue glass is particularly used in stained-glass or as an evil eye amulet, as it carries a range of symbolic meanings. Generally, it represents heaven, hope, sincerity, and piety, often associated with the Virgin Mary. It can also symbolize truth, clarity, and communication, particularly in the context of sea glass. In other contexts, blue glass, like the evil eye amulet, is believed to offer protection against negativity.

These beads have been cleansed and are ready for their next home. I have taken them from broken jewellery, and some have been bought from ethically sourced places. These earrings will come in plastic free packaging to lessen the harm to Mother Earth.
