Elephants seen as are powerful symbols representing wisdom, strength, loyalty, and good luck in a wide variety of cultures. An Elephant's strong family bonds and long lifespans further contribute to their symbolism of loyalty, longevity, and protection. These incredible animals are often associated with Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom and remover of obstacles. In Buddhism, Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Phra Pikanet, or Vinayaka, is a deity primarily found in Tibetan, Thai and East Asian Buddhist traditions, particularly Vajrayana Buddhism. He is typically depicted as a worldly protector and an emanation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. Ganesha's role in Buddhism is diverse, sometimes portrayed as a demon to be overcome or as a deity associated with overcoming obstacles. In Thailand, Phra Pikanet is associated with arts, education and trade, and people regularly wear charms of elephants or Ganesha to help them focus their skills in those particular areas.

The elephant charm being made out of clay is also significant as clay is often representative of themes of creation, human nature, and the divine. In many creation myths, clay is the founding material from which humanity is formed, symbolizing both our origins and our inherent connection to Mother Earth. It also highlights human vulnerability and dependence on a higher power, particularly when viewed as being shaped by a divine potter. I enjoy wearing clay jewellery for this reason, as it helps me feel grounded, connected, and close to nature.

Marble is rumoured to offer various healing properties, like promoting inner peace, strength, and positive focus, particularly when dealing with difficult situations or addictions. Marble has held significant historical and cultural importance across various civilizations, typically symbolizing purity, permanence, and artistic expression. From Ancient Greece and Rome to the Renaissance and beyond, marble has been a material of choice for creating enduring works of art, architecture, and monuments.

Yellow Aventurine is rumoured to have healing properties related to emotional well-being, particularly self-esteem and anxiety. It's also believed to enhance creativity, promote optimism, and bring a sense of joy and well-being. Furthermore, it is associated with the solar plexus chakra, helping to balance and open this energy centre.

These beads have been cleansed and are ready for their next home. I have taken them from broken jewellery, and some have been bought from ethically sourced places. This bracelet will come in plastic free packaging to lessen the harm to Mother Earth.
